Summer 2022 Update
What has been happening?
We have been able to go out on more community contacts with various families so that they can spend quality time together. Venues included the Island Riding Centre, beaches and more.
Sunday 15th May 2022—International Families Day.
What’s been going on in June 2022?
The team thoroughly enjoyed visiting Northwood House’s community celebrational picnic in the park event for the Queen's Jubilee. This event held music, family fun activities and more - a great day out!
HIGHLIGHTS
A huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for awarding us a two year grant. This money will help to ensure the sustainability of the centre and enable us to continue providing much needed support to families across the Isle of Wight.
What’s been going on in July 2022?
Community Action Isle of Wight
Our team attended Community Action Isle of Wight’s volunteer drive which was held at
Northwood House earlier this month.
It was lovely to learn about and support many other charities who also attended the event.
HIGHLIGHTS
Money Heroes project is up and running!
Our team have completed training and are looking forward to delivering this educational and vital project.
